Billy Strings Shares ‘Watch It Fall’ Video

Billy Strings tapped INDECLINE to direct the official video for “Watch It Fall,” a song featured on his 2019 studio album Home. The visual mixes footage of a train crossing various points in America with illustrations of Billy’s lyrics for the song.

“Watch It Fall” is described as an “unmasked commentary on the status of cultural dissolution” in which Billy sings about such hot topics as Wall Street and climate change in a plea for listeners to realize the fragility of the world. Strings’ song was written and recorded well before the COVID-19 pandemic, yet the lyrics resonate now more than ever.

Billy issued the following statement along with the video:

Hurricanes, wildfires, politics, a pandemic and social injustice are coming to a head. We have to stay strong, stay together and do our part to make a stand. Make sure you are registered to vote. Check in on one another. Be kind. We love you and hope you’re all staying safe. Thanks to our friends at Indecline for doing such an incredible job putting imagery to words for the official #WatchItFall video.
