Billy Strings Heads Down Under: Announces 1st-Ever Australia & New Zealand Tour
The Grammy-winning guitarist and his band will perform arena dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.

Billy Strings will make his first trip to the Southern Hemisphere in July. Strings and his band confirmed details of a four-show arena run through Australia and New Zealand.
The brief tour begins on July 15 with a performance at the 7,500-capacity Margaret Court Arena. Billy Strings and bandmates fiddler Alex Hargreaves, banjo player Billy Failing, mandolinist Jarrod Walker and bassist Royal Masat will then play the ICC Sydney Theatre in Sydney on July 17 and Brisbane’s Riverstage on July 19 before ending the excursion on July 22 at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

Australia and New Zealand are the latest worldwide destinations for the Grammy-winning guitarist, who has previously made multiple trips to Europe and the U.K. The trek is dubbed a Winter Tour as the seasons take place at opposite times of the year down under than in North America.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale starting on Friday, January 31 at 12 p.m. local time. Sign up via Frontier Touring for passcodes. General on-sales follow on Monday, February 3 at 12 p.m. local time.
Billy Strings recently kicked off his winter tour with three nights in Denver. Next up for Strings and his band are six shows in Asheville, North Carolina beginning on Thursday, February 6.
