Billy Strings Confirms Capitol Theatre Run 2022 Concert Livestreams

Billy Strings teamed with FANS to offer livestreams of his upcoming four-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. The webcasts are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT this Thursday, February 3 through Sunday, February 6.

Dubbed “Deja Tu — Return to the Experiment,” the residency will see Billy Strings reprise a series of ESP experiments first pulled off by the Grateful Dead with Dr. Stanley Krippner at The Cap in 1971 and tried by the guitarist last February during a run of audience-less shows at the historic venue. Strings’ 2021 performances came on the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s six gigs in Port Chester.

“You’ll see a hybrid of what we did in 2021 and what they did in 1971 for the upcoming shows, for ‘Deja Tu,’” Bill Orner, Billy Strings’ manager told the Asbury Park Press. “I think it will be really exciting for the fans in the room to get that vibe, too.”

Livestreams are currently available for pre-order via FANS.live. Fans can purchase single-night tickets or a discounted four-show bundle. All webcasts include on-demand viewing access through Sunday, February 13 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
