Billy Strings Celebrates Release Of 1st Live Album By Sharing Video Of Each Track
Watch professionally-shot footage of all eight tracks featured on Live Vol. 1 and the bonus cuts.

Out today from Billy Strings is Live Vol. 1, the guitarist’s first official live album and release on Reprise Records. Strings unveiled official video featuring the eight tracks included on the album as well as a pair of previously shared bonus cuts.
Each of the clips — which span the period from April 22, 2023 through March 1, 2024 — were posted on Strings’ YouTube channel and can be viewed below. Live Vol. 1 contains Billy and band’s performances of such beloved songs as “Dust In A Baggie,” “Turmoil & Tinfoil” and “Away From The Mire.” The set also includes the recently debuted “Richard Petty,” a tune expected to be featured on Strings’ long-awaited follow-up to 2021’s Renewal. The Michigan native told Marc Maron during an appearance on the WTF Podcast his next studio album is done and was produced by Jon Brion.

Billy Strings made his Warner Records debut with “California Sober,” a 2023 single featuring Willie Nelson. The legendary label also released a 38-minute version of “Meet Me At Creek” recorded on March 4, 2023 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Strings and his band worked “Pyramid Country” and “Must Be Seven” within “Meet Me At The Creek” at Winston-Salem’s Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
