Billy Strings To Join Chris Thile At NY Phil

Guitarist Billy Strings will accompany mandolinist Chris Thile for the final installment of The 65th Street Session concert series at the New York Philharmonic. The special performance at Wu Tsai Theater in David Geffen Hall will bring the collaborative series to a close on February 1, 2024.

Thile’s next installment of his 65th Street Session performances takes place on November 28 and will feature Cory Wong, Luis Cato and Meshell Ndegeocello. Additional musicians who have joined Thile as part of the series at the NY Phil since its launch in October 2022 include Madison Cunningham, Jacob Collier, Brad Mehldau and Tune-Yards, among others.
