Billy Joel Honors Aretha Franklin & Welcomes Bryan Adams At The Garden

Billy Joel performed Thursday night as part of his ongoing monthly run of shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Piano Man played a song in honor of Aretha Franklin and was joined by Bryan Adams during last evening’s encore.
Joel’s tribute to The Queen Of Soul came mid-set as vocalist Crystal Taliefero led a version of “Respect.” Adams emerged to assist the final two songs of the five-song encore. The pair teamed up for Adams’ “Summer of ’69” and Joel’s “You May Be Right.” Watch footage of Bryan and Billy captured by CES GURL below:
