Billy Joel Announces First Long Island Concert In Over A Decade

In a last minute surprise Billy Joel has just announced he will play his first show on his native Long Island in over a decade tomorrow night as he prepares for a European tour. Joel will play The Paramount Theatre in Huntington, NY on Wednesday night as a benefit for Long Island Cares. 
The Piano Man last performed on Long Island back in 2002, when he visited the Nassau Coliseum along with Elton John. Tickets for the intimate performance will go on sale at noon ET today via Ticketmaster. With a capacity of only 1,555, tickets are expected to go quick. There’s a two ticket limit, with sales limited to online and phone. Joel kicks off his European tour on October 29 in Manchester, England.
