Hometown Holiday Party: Big Light Announces 1st Concert In San Francisco Since 2019
The band opens this year's holiday party to the public.
Bay Area rockers Big Light will bring their annual holiday celebration back to San Francisco next month, marking the band’s first public show within city limits since 2019. The quartet will play two sets at Amado’s on Friday, December 9.
Big Light — guitarist/vocalist Fred Torphy, drummer Bradly Bifulco, lead guitarist Jeremy Korpas and bassist Steve Adams — started a tradition of performing in the Bay Area between Thanksgiving and Christmas back in 2015. While these annual concerts are typically private affairs, the band is opening up this year’s festivities to the public.
Amado’s is located in San Francisco’s Mission District, the same neighborhood where Big Light was formed in 2006. Limited tickets are on sale now. Buy tickets for Big Light’s Holiday Party via Eventbrite.com.
Big Light opened for pals The Slip at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California this past summer. The group just released official video of the opening sequence from the second of two nights supporting The Slip. Watch Big Light work the intro from classic “Fire & Wind” into “Party’s Over,” the song that closes their 2022 studio album, The Party:
