Better Oblivion Community Center Performs ‘Tiny Desk Concert’

Better Oblivion Community Center performed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music’s ongoing video series. Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers played three songs from their surprise self-titled album that came out this year, one of which features NPR’s Bob Boilen – whose desk doubles as a performance space – making his Tiny Desk debut.

Bridgers and Oberst played guitar and shared vocals while supported by Christian Lee Hutson on guitar and pocket piano and Emily Retsas playing Omnichord. The set consisted of Better Oblivion Community Center tracks “Dylan Thomas,” “Exception to the Rule” and (with Boilen playing whirly tube) “My City.” Watch the Tiny Desk Concert below:
