By Scott Bernstein May 14, 2020 6:53 am PDT

Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard was Stephen Colbert’s musical guest on Wednesday’s at-home episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Gibbard played his isolation anthem, “Life In Quarantine,” from his home studio in Washington.

Ben Gibbard penned “Life In Quarantine” shortly after shelter-in-place restrictions were put into place to battle the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Seattle newspaper The Stranger shared Gibbard’s debut “Life In Quarantine” performance on March 20. The Bremerton, Washington native went on to release the song as a charity single.
