Bela Fleck To Premiere New Trio At Dave & Tim Riviera Maya

The 2nd annual Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Rivera Maya event in Mexico is just a few weeks away. A change to the lineup for the event, which will take place January 12 – 14, has been made. While Bela Fleck is still in, he has changed the group he will be performing with.

Fleck was supposed to perform with his wife Abigail Washburn, but his bride has pulled out of the event and sends her regrets. Instead, Bela Fleck will premiere a new trio at Dave & Tim Riviera Maya ’18. The banjo master will be joined by jazz drummer Antonio Sanchez and bassist Matthew Brewer. Sanchez’s credits include performances with Pat Metheny and John Patitucci, while Brewer has worked with such artists as Greg Osby, Lee Konitz, Terence Blanchard and Sanchez.

Dave & Tim Riviera Maya ’18 will feature three full performances from the Dave Matthews Band guitarists. Brandi Carlile and Joseph are also set to play the event. Head here for full details and booking information.
