Beck Shares ‘Saw Lightning’ Single & Announces ‘Hyperspace’ Album

Beck unveiled “Saw Lightning,” the lead single from the forthcoming Hyperspace studio album. The artist’s follow-up to 2017’s Colors is due via Capitol Records “at an as yet undetermined point in the space time continuum” as per a press release.
“Saw Lightning” was both written and produced by Beck and Pharrell Williams Williams. Pharrell also contributes drums, keyboards and “mumbles.” The song is part of the new Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats Pro campaign. Previous output from Beck in 2019 includes “Tarantula” from Music Inspired By The Film Roma and “Night Running,” a collaboration with Cage The Elephant.
