Bar Tab 5 | Todd Nance, Col. Bruce, Sunny Ortiz, Patterson Hood & More

Earlier this month Widespread Panic drummer Todd Nance returned to the stage for the first time since he started a hiatus from Panic back in October when he sat in with Dyrty Byrds in Denver on March 11. Nance will take part in another gig soon as he’s on the lineup for Bar Tab 5, a benefit for the Garrie Vereen Roadie Fund at Nuci’s Space that will take place at the Georgia Theatre in Athens May 12.

Nance is just one performer on an all-star lineup that also includes his Panic band mate Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz as well as Larry Acquaviva, David Barbe, Randall Bramblett, James Calemine, Eric Carter, Sam Holt, Patterson Hood, Daniel Hutchens, John Keane, Kathy Kirbo, Eric Martinez, Spanky McClure, Jon Mills, John Neff, Tori Pater, Aaron Phillips and William Tonks. Col. Bruce Hampton is also aboard for the benefit. Garrie Vereen was a member of the Widespread Panic crew for 20 years before his death in 2011.
