Avetts To Team With Gov’t Mule & Emmylou Harris In Georgia

When it was revealed that Bob Weir & RatDog would open for The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks this summer, we saw a lot of banter about having the rock legend open for the young upstarts. Fact is, The Avetts are a huge draw at the moment and we’re glad they are looking to share bills with some of our favorite artists that inspired them. That trend will continue when Emmylou Harris and Gov’t Mule open for The Avetts at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta, GA on July 25 and 26, respectively.

On July 25 Harris will open for The Avett Brothers, while Gov’t Mule fills the support fole on the 26th. An Avetts’s fan club pre-sale begins on Tuesday, March 25. The general on-sale will follow on March 28.
