Arcade Fire Shares New Single ‘I Give You Power’ Featuring Mavis Staples

Arcade Fire have shared a new single entitled “I Give You Power.” The new track features legendary guest vocalist Mavis Staples.

Initially released exclusively to the TIDAL streaming platform, this marks the first new original material from Arcade Fire since the 2013 release of their album Reflektor. The band’s drummer Jeremy Gara recently revealed Arcade Fire had completed a new album and that it would be released sometime this year. Gara also revealed the band plans to tour extensively in support of what would be their fifth studio LP.

According to a tweet from Arcade Fire, proceeds from the new single will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Listen to “I Give You Power” featuring Staples below:
