Arcade Fire Expands 2017 European Tour

Arcade Fire has announced additional dates on their 2017 European Tour. The group will cover many countries on the continent throughout June and July.
Arcade Fire will head overseas to appear at a number of European music festivals alongside several standalone concerts. The band will perform a show at Malahide Castle in Dublin, Ireland on June 14 and at Tanzbrunnen in Cologne, Germany on June 16. They return to Germany for a show at Wuhlheide in Berlin on July 2 and they’ll host a concert on July 6 at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The four concerts surround appearances at the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona, Spain, the Isle Of Wight Festival in Newport, United Kingdom, the Best Kept Secret Festival in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, Rock Werchter in Werchter, Belgium, the Roskilde Festival in Roskilde, Denmark and the City Season Festivals in Milan and Florence, Italy, among others. Tickets to the four solo Arcade Fire shows go on sale Friday, February 17.
Arcade Fire recently issued a single featuring Mavis Staples that’s likely to appear on their forthcoming new album. The would-be follow-up to 2013’s Reflektor is said to be completed, with drummer Jeremy Gara recently stating the a full tour was was being plotted in support.
