Aqueous launched the “Flamingle Friday” video series featuring footage from The Great Flamingle, the band’s first festival. Up first is pro-shot video of a stellar “Pokémon (Red/Blue Theme)” and well-jammed version of AQ original “Origami.”

The Great Flamingle took place in the quartet’s hometown of Buffalo on September 3, 2022. Aqueous took the stage at The Great Flamingle for their last full-band performance of 2022. Multi-instrumentalist Dave Loss is spending the rest of the year at home tending to his newborn child. Additional “Flamingle Friday” videos arrive every other Friday with The Flamingle Singles EP due out early this winter.

“On a recent trip to Denver, my sister took me to this awesome antique mall The Brass Armadillo, where I found some old school first-generation Pokémon cards! I decided to surprise my bandmates with a backstage gifting of a few classic Pokémon, and it sparked some big-time nostalgia and fun,” Aqueous guitarist Mike Gantzer explained. “A few weeks later we covered one of the themes from the old Gameboy games at our festival THE GREAT FLAMINGLE. We’re very stoked to launch the ‘Flamingle Friday’ video series with this version of ‘Pokémon Red/blue>Origami!'”
