By Scott Bernstein Oct 28, 2019 • 11:03 am PDT

Aqueous will issue a new EP entitled Burn It Down on November 8. The Buffalo-based quartet shared a trailer for the EP, which can be viewed below. In other Aqueous news, the band recently welcomed Twiddle frontman Mihali for a sit-in.
Mihali emerged during Aqueous’ second set on Friday night at Higher Ground in Burlington. The Vermont resident added guitar to the AQ original “Aldehyde.” Friday’s show was the second of the four-piece’s fall tour. Aqueous’ first set concluded with a “Don’t Do It” sandwich featuring “Mice” within and included the band’s recently debuted cover of “Sunflower” from Vampire Weekend‘s 2019 album, Father Of The Bride. The second set at Higher Ground began with a pairing of “Mosquito Valley Pt. 1” and “The Median” ahead of the Mihali sit-in. Aqueous strung together “Second Sight,” “Mind Games” and “Undone (The Sweater Song)” to end the frame and encored with “Triangle.”
