Andy Hall Gets Into Some ‘Skunk Weed’ With Ronnie McCoury On Latest Single

The Infamous Stringdusters dobro player Andy Hall teamed up with Ronnie McCoury for his latest single, “Skunk Weed.” The track is set to land on Hall’s upcoming album, Squareneck Soul, due out on June 23 via Americana Vibes.
Hall heralded the news of Squareneck Soul, in May with the single “Up In Bigfoot Country.” Andy followed that track with “Muscle Car” a collaboration with Billy Strings. Hall put together an ace band, his Stringdusters bandmate Travis Book on bass, along with Sierra Hull on mandolin and banjoist Wes Corbett.
The LP was made for improvisation, with each musician taking a ride on the instrumental. “Skunk Weed” is the final advance single off the album and sees the pickers trading fierce licks, in a fiery exchange. Fire up “Skunk Weed” below:
