Amy Helm Performs ‘Breathing’ Around A Campfire At Levon Helm Studios
Singer-songwriter Amy Helm shared video featuring a performance of “Breathing” filmed at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, New York. “Breathing” is the first single from Helm’s upcoming What The Flood Leaves Behind album, which arrives through Renew Records/BMG on June 18.
Amy Helm and guitarists Connor Kennedy and Zach Djanikian assembled around the campfire at Levon Helm Studios for the acoustic rendition of “Breathing.” Helm recorded What The Flood Leaves Behind with producer Josh Kaufman at Levon Helm Studios.
“Going back to the place where I learned so much about how to express music, how to hold myself in music, how to listen to music,” Amy Helm stated, “it was humbling in a funny way. I could see clearly where I came from and where I am now in my life. I was singing from a different place now and for a different reason.” Levon Helm Studios was established by Amy’s dad, late The Band co-founder Levon Helm.
