Aloe Blacc Taps Cooper Alan For ‘Wake Me Up (Country Version)’ In Celebration Of Song’s 10th Anniversary

Aloe Blacc teamed with rising country artist Cooper Alan for a reimagining of the former’s smash hit with Avicii, “Wake Me Up.” Dubbed “Wake Me Up (Country Version),” the crossover collaboration celebrates the 10th anniversary of the original edition of Blacc and Avicii’s song.

Aloe Blacc has been blurring genres of late, most notably with his “Rock My Soul” covers series. The collection sees Blacc infusing rock classics with his innovative soul stylings including on songs by The White Stripes, (“Seven Nation Army”), Soundgarden (“Black Hole Sun”), Nirvana (“Lithium”), Rage Against The Machine (“Born of a Broken Man”) and more.
