The Allman Betts Band Releases ‘Long Gone’ Video

The Allman Betts Band assembled virtually to film the “Long Gone” video. “Long Gone” appears on the band’s 2019 debut studio album, Down To The River, which will be released on vinyl for the first time on July 17.

Each member of the band — which consists of guitarists Devon Allman, Duane Betts and Johnny Stachela, bassist Berry Oakley Jr., keyboardist John Giny, percussionist R. Scott Bryan and drummer John Lum — filmed contributions to the video in their hometowns using iPhones. “Never thought we’d film a music video while our band is apart,” Devon Allman told Relix, the outlet that premiered the video. “From the banks of the Missouri River, to the Mountains of Wyoming, in skyscrapers, poppy fields, beaches and backyards…we’re all a little ‘Long Gone’ lately.”

“We made lemonade out of lemons with this video and I think it turned out pretty sweet. We are definitely ‘Long Gone,’” added Duane Betts. Watch the “Long Gone” video below:
