Stream Allison Russell & Resistance Revival Chorus’ Gorgeous Hozier Cover

Singer-songwriter Allison Russell recorded a powerful cover of Hozier’s “Take Me To Church” with the help of the Resistance Revival Chorus. The track was recorded for the Spotify Singles series.
Russell has collaborated with Hozier on a number of occasions, including at the 2022 all-star Love Rocks NYC concert in New York City and at the recent Love Rising event in Nashville. Russell and the Resistance Revival Chorus collective recorded “Take Me To Church” this summer at the Power Station in New York City.

Along with the Hozier cover, Russell also tracked a live version of her original “Stay Right Here.” The song appeared on Russell’s 2023 album, The Returner. The 10-track release was the follow-up to Russell’s breakout 2021 album, Outside Child.
