AC/DC will hit the road in May for the first time since 2016. The initial leg of the legendary Australian rock band’s Power Up Tour consists of 21 dates in cities across Europe running through August.
The announcement comes after a week of teases and months of speculation. New touring bassist Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction, Alanis Morissette) and touring drummer Matt Laug will join vocalist Brian Johnson and guitarists Angus Young and Stevie Young as the band’s lineup for the tour. Drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams each contributed to AC/DC’s 2020 album, Power Up, but will not appear in the tour of the same name. Laug initially stepped in for Rudd at AC/DC's Power Trip set last October.
