GENTLE CHANTEUSE DEBUTS
NEW SUNDANCE CHANNEL SERIES

Norah Jones by Danny Clinch
Live From Abbey Road, a new Sundance Channel, premieres tonight (June 21) with intimate performances from Norah Jones, John Mayer and Richard Ashcroft (Verve) at “the world’s most famous recording studio.” The series is a cozier, more upscale take on the types of concerts pioneered on Austin City Limits, engineered with a care befitting the Beatles old stomping grounds and taped without a studio audience.

Upcoming episodes include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ray LaMontagne, Gipsy Kings, Iron Maiden, Wynton Marsalis, Paul Simon and many more. Each week features a trio of diverse artists.

Norah Jones is a busy gal this summer, with an appearance on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert series (July 6), a two-month European tour and the leading role in celebrated art film director Wong Kar Wai’s My Blueberry Nights, which opened this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Jones has a handful of U.S. dates before crossing the Atlantic.
