80s Dylan Tribute | TLG, Gene Ween, Marco And More

When thinking back on the career of Bob Dylan, his output from the ’80s isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind. However many artists feel this period has been overlooked and have contributed tracks to a tribute album dubbed Bob Dylan In The ’80s: Volume One that’s set for a March 25 release via ATO Records.

A number of JamBase favorites have contributed to the 17-track effort including Marco Benevento, Tea Leaf Green, Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman, Built to Spill and Deer Tick. Among the covers we’re excited to hear are Gener teaming with Slash on “Wiggle Wiggle,” TLG’s “Waiting To Get Beat” and Deer Tick’s “Night After Night.” The album was produced by Jesse Lauter and Sean O’Brien.
