10 Highly Anticipated Record Store Day 2017 Releases

The annual Record Store Day for independent music retailers will be held on April 22. The roster of special titles being issued for the vinyl-focused event celebrating 10 years has been revealed and includes offerings from the Grateful Dead, moe., Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit and many more.

Guitarist St. Vincent (Annie Clark) will serve as the 2017 Record Store Day Ambassador. The complete list of Record Store Day releases can be viewed here. Below is a set of 10 highly anticipated titles coming out on RSD.

1. Grateful DeadP.N.E. Garden Auditorium, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 7/29/66

“P.N.E. Garden Auditorium, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 7/29/66 marks Grateful Dead’s debut performance outside of the United States. Their complete July 29, 1966 performance is being released in a limited edition, 2-LP, 180 gram vinyl-set, with four bonus tracks from the ensuing 7/30 performance at the same venue.”

2. moe.Live From San Francisco

“For their first ever Record Store Day release, the band presents a spectacular new double live album culled from an epic 2016 performance at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco.
