Fallon emerged 14 songs into the set to duet with Bono on “Desire,” a song The Tonight Show host sang with The Roots in November after Bono’s hand injury led to U2 cancelling their week-long visit to the talk show. Fallon made reference to the singer’s injury by proclaiming “I’m afraid of Irish men that fall down and injure themselves” and joked “it’s not easy being Bono.”

Jimmy then brought out The Roots who helped out U2 on “Angel Of Harlem” as they did during the Irish band’s May visit to The Tonight Show.
