Mad Dogs & Englishmen | Lockn To Host Tribute To Joe Cocker

Russell helped Cocker spearhead the original Mad Dogs & Englishmen, a quickly formed band assembled largely by Leon that drew heavily from fellow Delaney and Bonnie alums, including Dave Mason and Rita Coolidge. Mad Dogs & Englishmen, which resulted in a tour, album and movie, is one of the highlights of Joe Cocker’s career.
The Lockn’ Festival will take place at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia September 10 -13. Phil Lesh & Friends, Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident and Umphrey’s McGee are among the acts scheduled to perform at Lockn’ ’15. Tickets for the festival are on sale now.
