Bill Kreutzmann Announces Book Tour

Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann has announced he will tour in support of his upcoming memoir Deal: My Three Decades of Drumming, Dreams and Drugs with The Grateful Dead. The tour will include certain special “Conversation with…” discussions of the book while others will only include signings. Billy’s book tour begins with a previously announced keynote discussion with co-author Benjy Eisen at the U.S. Cannabis Cup in Denver on April 18. Other stops on the tour include the previously revealed discussion with the two authors at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California, on May 27.

The autobiography detailing Kreutzmann’s time as a Grateful Dead member will be released Tuesday, May 5 through St. Martin’s Press.  Deal: My Three Decades of Drumming, Dreams and Drugs with The Grateful Dead includes 416 pages featuring 30 black-and-white photos and a 16-page color photo insert as well as a cover designed by renowned artist Stanley Mouse.
