Yesterday, Neil posted a live version of “Who’s Gonna Stand Up?” recorded with Crazy Horse at the group’s July 13th show in Liverpool on his website. Young shared the song to help draw attention to the documentary Under The Influence, which deals with some of the same topics discussed in “Who’s Gonna Stand Up?” Listen to the live take on the tune via Stereogum:
The “Who’s Gonna Stand Up?” Neil shared does seem to feature horns, which did not appear at the Liverpool show, so they may have been overdubbed. Neil Young will perform at Farm Aid on Saturday night in Raleigh.
