While we already knew that The Beatles would be honored by The Grammys with a Special Merit Award the day before the official ceremony on the 26th, today it’s been announced that the two surviving members of the group will perform as part of the televised award ceremony. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney are set to play L.A.’s Staples Center on January 26.

We don’t know what the pair will play, but we know it will be televised on CBS. McCartney is up for a few Grammys including the Best Rock Song award. The Beatles will also receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award. Other expected Grammy performances will see Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers and Pharrell team up as well as Sara Bareilles to sing with Carole King. Pop stars Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry and Macklemore with Ryan Lewis are also set to perform at the Stples Center on the 26th.
