Peoples Blues of Richmond, Sol Roots, and Camryn Wessner perform at Club Heaven as part of Indie Adams Morgan Jam Band Series. "Peoples Blues of Richmond.. played solid sets that rival even the most experienced of road-dogs. A three-piece akin to the likes of ACDC and other rock-greats of past decades, People’s Blues of Richmond made no reservations of using their stage-time to the fullest. Blending the mentality of a jam-band with thick, bluesy riffs, swift tempo changes and blistering solos, the boys got the crowd moving early on in the evening." - The Horn "Sol Roots is a fierce guitarist and soulful singer who has toured around the world with many roots, funk, and blues legends. Sol Roots is an official Home Grown Music Network band and creates a unique blend of energetic rock, raw blues, reggae, and funk, all delivered with deep soul. Sol and the band have performed at many premier festivals and venues across the east coast US, and the group includes musicians that have worked with Tommy Castro, Hobex, Corey Harris, Jah Works, Mike Zito, Squirrel Nut Zippers and more. Paying homage to the greats, Sol seeks to push musical boundaries and bring Roots Music to a new generation of listeners." - official website "Young Florida singer/songwriter Camryn Wessner is making a splash in the southeast with her single ‘Polaroid’ from her debut EP ‘Temporary’. Musical Influences: Alison Krause, Stevie Nicks, John Mellencamp. Indie Adams Morgan in conjunction with Songwriters and Poets, Cosmic Vibes Live are coming together to build an ongoing local music series in the performance spaces of Adams Morgan. Club Heaven is a 300+ venue and is equipped with sound and stage. Initially the series will focus efforts to build Thursday Nights concerts.
