Wilco To Headline Sound Summit 2016 On Mount Tam

The 2016 installment of Sound Summit will be held at the historic Mountain Theater, a 4000-seat stone amphitheater set high atop Mount Tamalpais in California’s Bay Area on September 17. Organizers of Sound Summit, a one-day music festival with proceeds benefiting the upkeep of Mount Tam, have revealed the lineup for this year’s event.

Sound Summit ’16 will be headlined by Wilco. East L.A. rockers Los Lobos will also perform as will Bill Frisell’s Guitar In The Space Age and The Stone Foxes. In the wake of last year’s concert, Roots & Branches made a $40,000 grant to Mount Tamalpais State Park. Tickets for this September’s event go on sale Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m. PT via the festival’s website.
