Neil Young To Make ‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Debut

Veteran rocker Neil Young will release a new LP EARTH via Reprise Records on June 17. Young will promote the album during an upcoming visit to CBS’s Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday, May 26. While Neil has appeared on the host’s old Comedy Central talk show The Colbert Report, next week’s appearance will mark his first on Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

As of press time it hasn’t been revealed whether Young will perform on the show or just sit for an interview with Stephen Colbert. The famed musician dueted with Colbert as “Neil Young & Crazy Host” on a light-hearted take on Neil’s environmental anthem “Who’s Gonna Stand Up?” during an October 2014 visit to The Colbert Report.
