David Bowie Collaborators To Present Celebrating David Bowie Concert Series

This January a number of David Bowie’s band members, friends, great artists and top musicians from around the world will come together to celebrate David Bowie. The Celebrating David Bowie global concert series will benefit charities worldwide. Today’s announcement includes word of a number of participants with cities, dates, venues and special guest announcements to follow in the coming weeks.
David Bowie’s “piano man” Mike Garson, who performed with The Thin White Duke for decades is aboard as are guitarists Adrian Belew and Earl Slick. Other longtime Bowie collaborators on board for the concert series are musician/producer Mark Plati, guitarist and musical director Gerry Leonard, bassist Gail Ann Dorsey, drummers Sterling Campbell and Zachary Alford as well as vocalists Holly Palmer and Cat Russell.
As today’s announcement indicates, the concerts will feature “Bowie People Performing Bowie Music Bowie Style.” Stay tuned for more details.
