Michael Franti & Spearhead Michael Franti is not only a musician and activist, but also an award-winning documentary filmmaker (I Know I’m Not Alone, documenting his time in the war torn areas of Iraq, Israel and Palestine), author (What I Be, Michael’s first children’s book) and promoter (the Power To The Peaceful festivals which draw tens of thousands of fans to the yearly performances in San Francisco and Sao Paulo, Brazil).
