BT Acoustic Record - Fellow Travelers - make your picks now!

Vote now for your top 5 best of Blues Traveler acoustic songs for a new CD

Blues Traveler
The guys begin a "writing session" for 6 weeks and while they are writing for a new studio record (release date TBA) they will also record the long awaited "Best of Blues Traveler acoustic CD."

This is something I know a lot you have wanted them to do for many years, myself included. Since it is the 20th year of this amazing band picking songs from their vast catalog is overwhelming so we thought it would be really fun and pretty cool to get you all involved in this process along with us!

So here is what you need to do.

Email me your "Top 5 Best of Blues Traveler song picks" they must be Blues Traveler songs NOT covers and I will get them to the band.

Make the subject line: "BT acoustic top 5" to my email address –

Have Fun!

I saw John play "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" at Bonnaroo last year... on the harmonica... Sickest live song I've ever seen. Too bad they won't accept covers for this cd

I love the BT blues tunes - Warmer Days and Mountain Cry (did i fuck the name of #2 up?) those would be good acoustic. acoustic blues or old would be nice.

I think this band has been mis understood lately cause of all the radio play they got in later years. live they sound more improvisational than they have in a while to me. id love to hear some new stuff that reflects BT'S improvisational spirit. no matter how many hits thay make they will always be a huge part of improvisational rock music - a jamband before jambands were really jambands at all.

"people miss the jam" - Popper said this around '93 or '94 talking about his HORDE in an interview.
