EQUIFUNK ANNOUNCES 2012 SUMMER LINEUP
Equifunk is celebrating its 5th year anniversary this summer with an extra special lineup of music and activities for the 1000 "campers" that are lucky enough to attend the intimate festival. New Orleans funk quintet Galactic is headlining this year's Equifunk which will take place August 17-19 at Camp Equinunk in the Poconos, PA.
Also on this year's Equifunk roster is Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, headlining Friday night, LA-based funk band Orgone, Brooklyn's groove machine The Pimps of Joytime, distinguished Led Zeppelin cover band Bustle In Your Hedgerow and remix artists RAC, amongst others to be announced.
Considered the secret gem of music festivals, Equifunk is so appealing because of its unique and scenic environment, accommodating setup and its casual noncommercial vibe. Coined as "the anti-festival," Equifunk is all-inclusive; a weekend pass guarantees on-site lodging or camping accommodations, access to all music, alcoholic beverages and meals for the entire weekend.
