The Staxx Brothers: The KC Tenderfoot Show
By Team JamBase Sep 1, 2011 • 9:30 am PDT

Few bands in modern times commingle bad ass funky rock, country, hip hop and blues with comedy like Seattle’s The Staxx Brothers. One has to nod back to Beastie Boys, The Tubes and Michael Nesmith to find a similar spirit. All their videos have been production numbers well beyond the scope of most broke ass young bands but nothing like healthy ambition (and a boatload of raw talent) to make great things happen. This new clip officially introduces their new drummer Kevin Chryst, who is according to Staxx lore, “an avid Hustler in this game called LIFE, Kevin enjoys long walks on the beach and women of all (legal) ages. Explore his world.” This video was directed by Staxx main man Davin Michael Stedman and produced with the help of filmmakers Gary Washington & Will Grazier.
