Huichica Music Festival is an annual all-day concert at Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma, California on June 4. Winery owner Jeff Bundschu and Fruit Bats frontman Eric Johnson conceived of the festival after the band's 2009 performance at the outdoor amphitheater.
Huichica. Pronounced We-Chica. The 153-year-old Gundlach Bundschu Winery was once part of the land called Rancho Huichica by Mexican General Mariano Vallejo, and Huichica is the name of the unique soil of the region that makes for great winegrowing.
