HOTEL SHAMPOO DUE OUT IN 2011

Gruff Rhys, enigmatic lead singer and songwriter for celebrated Welsh space rock outfit Super Furry Animals, solo artist, one half of trans-Atlantic electronic duo Neon Neon and documentarian extraordinaire is making a return stateside to play a selection of stripped-down, solo acoustic sets.

Earlier this month we were offered a small glimpse of what is to come on Gruff’s recently completed third solo album, Hotel Shampoo, due out in 2011. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, Gruff Rhys surfaced with a new song, "Shark Ridden Waters" and an accompanying video, which premiered on Pitchfork earlier this month.
