Nortec Collective, boombox, krack / smack and joshua tree! Greatest start to this fests line up yet. Hope boombox plays that late set Ghostland had last year.

kraak and smaak is really awesome. I would go to the festival just for them and boombox. Too bad I live so far away, it's gonna be a rager for sure.

i know this is an early lineup announcement , but they better get busy, PBS cant carry this thing alone. also boots riley and the coup suck. saw em open for claypool and play with galactic. and boo is all i can say.

cant argue with the cheap 3 day early bird pass but thats like payin $65 to see PBS play. its an awesome venue tho, hope they can crank out some more good artists .

hey dready -- go to this festival before you start talking about wildlife and what not. this is on a private rv park and i think that there are only about three joshua trees on the property (wildlife: birds and fish in the pond). this festival does not disturb the peace of jt np. this little fest is one of the best ones out there...although i'm waiting for a much better line up before i buy my tickets...it will shape up i'm sure!

Just saw Underground ORchestra at Las Tortugas. They surprised me. Super funky rock fun, with a soulful crazy twist. They did a GREAT version of Nirvana's In Bloom. Seriously, an amazing rendition. I just heard Lotus's Halloween version, which was quite a let down after experiencing the one these guys did at Tortugas. Monophonics are also getting way better and coming into their own. Some year I would love to make it down for this festy.

J Tree Fest is always a good time. Did anyone catch the late night All-Star jam til 5 in the morning with members of Delta Nove, Flowmotion, On The One, Souleye, and others?

One of the best festivals in the U.S. and one deserving of more attention..U2 didn't record/name their album "Joshua Tree" because it sucks. The promoters are some of the nicest people in the land and true music lovers that book bands based on talent, not hype. It's a dance party to say the least (and then some.) In this tough economy with lots of choices of where to spend your spare and often limited entertainment dollars, this is the spot.
