SCI : High Def From Red Rocks

Will this eventually be on DVD or do I have to travel from Chitown to Eugene to see it? Saturday night Red Rocks might of been the best show of the summer. Either that or the first night of Zoe, ot sure. It was hella hot there.

wish i could have made it to red rocks, but did manage to catch the BSC run @ camp Zoe, have been trying to find the audio for the shows at Zoe for some time, any info would be appreciated, yea, Zoe gets VERY HOT! we attend several times annually, we are going to catch EOTO at ZOE on memorial day weekend, should be great!

it's cool that they are doing this. gee whiz it's MUCH better seeing a movie as opposed to the real SCI live and in person... why do all the good ones break up before i get a chance to see them??? ARRRGGH!

Saturday night was the heat...Friday's second set was sweet as well with the Land's End Suite...but Sat was the heat. This is a very cool idea and from what I've heard these are just the initial dates so be patient.

We need a Big Summer Classic Camp zoe DVD. Everyone who was there knows that was the best 3 night run of SCI

A video showing is a poor substitute IMO, but will be kind of cool for those that weren't there. I felt that Thursday and Saturday were the best shows of the Red Rocks run, but they all were special.

I'd also like to see footage of Horning's Hideout, those shows were insane. I think it was Saturday, started off with Billy solo, then a guy came out, couple more, switched up their instruments. And of course the ceremony that night was spectacular, Travis playing the flames.

Yes!! These shows were so joyful! My hula-hoop was practically on fire by the end of the saturday nite show. Yay! Can't wait to pop in the DVD and throw a box of glow sticks around in the basement of my parents house! Best band ever. Smile, yay.

Hopefully this gets released on DVD. I will definitely buy it. Already have the Live from Austin, Texas DVD. It's really good. SCI is great. Wish i would have got the chance to see them live. One of my goals when I have the money is definitely to make it to Red Rocks. Looks like the most beautiful venue in the country.

i heard they did make a dvd out of the camp zoe highlights, but i guess that was just wishful thinking. i caught zoe and red rocks, that second set desert dawn sandwich on the 11th...i was scooping my face up off the ground for hours after that night. all you who didn't make it, just hope they find some way to get the full effect of the laser show during rivertrance. fuckin unreal. they'll be back, though. soon come, soon come.

I can't wait to see some of these DVDs. I have faith that SCI will be back one day. Big Summer Classics shows were my 3rd, 4th, and 5th SCI shows ever, and that festival made them my new favorite band. It was also THE BEST festival I've ever been to. I can't wait to go back to Camp Zoe for any decent bands, and I'm dreaming of a BSC at Zoe with SCI in 2010.

I'd bet money they'll be back in about a year, with or without Billy. Although it would be pretty different without him I guess. I think they're going to need to be making money again. I'd be surprised if any of them can muster up a successful solo act, with the exception of Kyle maybe. That EOTO thing is extremely weird and Honkytonk Homeslice will never move past a large bar show. I missed the final shows, and I live on the east coast, so I hope the screening comes this way as well. If they come back great, but if not oh well, it was great while it lasted. At least the final shows were respectable unlike the Phish debacle at Coventry.
