Nels Cline Of Wilco To Guest With Phil Lesh & Friends

Last year we suggested that Phil Lesh add Wilco guitarist Nels Cline as one of his band members for one of the many multi-night runs he had in store for 2014. Cline wound up guesting with Phil Lesh & Friends at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on May 29 and 30 and will do so again on November 1. 
The Wilco guitarist and axeman Scott Law have been announced as Lesh’s guests on November 1 (Law will also guest on Halloween) via Cap Theatre owner Peter Shapiro’s Jambands.com site. Nels will be coming off a three-night stand at The Capitol Theatre that takes place just before the Phil run starts.
Phil’s band for the first of five consecutive weekends at The Cap features Joe Russo, Dan Lebowitz, Rob Barraco and John Kadlecik. Tickets are still available via the venue’s website.
