Neil Young Coming Soon To The Howard Stern Show

Update 10/13 2 p.m. PT: According to acclaimed Neil Young fansite Thrasher's Wheat, the decades-in-the-making Neil Young debut on The Howard Stern Show will take place tomorrow morning, October 14. The timing makes sense considering The Colbert Report has Young listed as a guest for tomorrow's episode of the Stephen Colbert-hosted show as well. Both shows are taped in New York City.

Over the years radio show host Howard Stern has mentioned a number of times how much he'd love to have Neil Young visit his SiriusXM radio program. Yesterday, Stern revealed Neil will appear on an upcoming episode of The Howard Stern Show.

Early in Tuesday's program Stern mentioned Young is coming onto the show and that he's been waiting a long time for that to happen. Howard said he's already compiled a list of questions to ask the musical legend. He joked that Neil's visit must last at least 10 hours because of all the questions he has in store for the appearance. The closest the legendary radio host has come to getting Neil to appear on his show was back in January, when Young contributed a video tribute that was played at Stern's "Birthday Bash."

We can't wait to see what Howard asks Young. If the interview is anything like last October's chat with Graham Nash, we're in for a revealing conversation. Stern didn't give a specific air date for Young's appearance, but we'll be on the look out for that information.
