Cat Power Expands ‘The Greatest’ 20th Anniversary Tour

A newly announced summer leg features stops in the United States and Canada.

Cat Power added a summer leg to her ongoing The Greatest 20th Anniversary Tour featuring shows across North America. The artist born as Chan Marshall and her all-star backing band, Dirty Delta Blues, will perform the beloved 2006 album from front to back at each stop.

The summer run kicks off July 16 at ZeyZey Miami and continues through August with stops at venues including Tampa’s The Ritz Ybor, Charleston Music Hall, Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh, Montréal’s Théâtre Beanfield, Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder and Vancover’s Commodore Ballroom.

Cat Power will also bring the celebratory trek to Orlando, Saxapahaw (North Carolina), Richmond (Virginia), Norwalk (Connecticut), Portsmouth (New Hampshire), Geneva (New York), Louisville, Indianapolis, Steamboat Springs (Colorado), Bozeman (Montana), Calgary, Victoria (British Columbia), Forest Grove (Oregon) and Boise this summer before wrapping the leg in California with shows in Menlo Park on August 17 and Ojai on August 18.

Ticket presales for new dates are underway ahead of the general on sale beginning Friday, February 27 at 10 a.m. local time.

The Greatest Tour launched earlier this month and resumes tonight, February 26 at First Avenue in Minneapolis. Power will continue the first leg through March 14 and brings the excursion to Europe this fall.
