Fansite Says Nash & Crosby Won’t Appear On Pink Floyd Album

Yesterday, we picked up on Ultimate Classic Rock’s report that Graham Nash and David Crosby contributed vocals to a song on the new Pink Floyd album, The Endless River. It turns out Nash and Croz may have recorded the track for a future David Gilmour solo project, as first thought, since respected Floyd fansite Brain Damage, says the Ultimate Classic Rock report was incorrect.

Brain Damage cites a source close to the band which has told them “that Crosby and Nash are singing on a solo Gilmour track, NOT on The Endless River.” In the mean time, Ultimate Classic Rock has backed off their initial report.

Earlier this week Pink Floyd confirmed the upcoming release of The Endless River, an album of mainly ambient and instrumental music based on the 1993/4 Division Bell sessions. The Endless River is produced by David Gilmour with Phil Manzanera, Youth and recording engineer Andy Jackson. Nick Mason also helped with the effort, which is said to feature contributions recorded by the late Rick Wright before he passed away. Roger Waters was not involved with The Endless River.
