Slightly Stoopid To Headline Closer To The Sun In Mexico

San Diego jam-ska-reggae-rockers Slightly Stoopid will headline Cloud 9 Adventures’ newest destination event, Closer To The Sun, which will take place at at Now Sapphire Resort & Spa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico from December 16 -20. Closer To The Sun is named after Slightly Stoopid’s 2005 studio album. 

Slightly Stoopid will play three performances at the event -two full shows and one acoustic show on the beach. Citizen Cope, Steel Pulse, G Love & Special Sauce and Dirty Heads are also aboard for the inaugural Closer To The Sun, and will each perform twice. Look for an announcement of artist-hosted activities soon.

Capacity for Closer To The Sun is limited to just 1,000 fans. All-inclusive packages go on sale starting on June 17 at 2 p.m. ET via the event’s website. Packages include a four-night stay at the restort, access to all concerts, all meals, drinks including alcohol and most on-site activities.
