Audio | Widespread Panic Shares First Songs Of The Year

Georgia rockers Widespread Panic will ring in 2014 at Philips Arena in Atlanta on December 31. In anticipation of the band’s return to the Philips, they have been sharing audio of the first song they’ve played each year on their Soundcloud Page.

Panic will post the first song they’ve played after the New Year’s Countdown from 2007 -2013. So far they’re up to a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Starting Something” that rang in 2010. Also available are “I Can’t Stop Loving You” sung by Col. Bruce Hampton that welcomed 2007, “Ain’t Life Grand” and the countdown to 2008 and the “As Time Goes By” from NYE ’08 -’09.
